Jor Bangla Mosque

This Jor Bangla Mosque can be seen in a pair of mounds near an ancient pond, some distance from Gorai Mosque, located at barobazar in Kaliganj upazila of Jhenaidah district. In 1993, the Department of Archeology discovered it. In the fourteenth century, during the Sultanate period, Shah Sultan Ibn Hussein built the religious building. This is a building built in square. The length of which is about 18 feet in length. Two mosques fitted together are usually not seen anywhere.
